About Me
- Name: Randolfe Wicker
- Location: Hoboken, New Jersey, United States
I'm a transaged male (young man trapped in an old body) who has been a LGBT activist since 1958, sex freedom activist since 1962, anti-Vietnam-War button merchant (1965-1971), founder of LeMar (legalize marijuana) in1964, heavy drinker since 1982, world's first cloning activist since 1997, transgender fashion activist since 2007. Look up my uniquely spelled name "RANDOLFE" on google. I ran an Art Deco lighting shop in Greenwich Village from 1974 till 2003, have edited men's magazine & even got SCREW busted in the late 1960s. These days I work with video. Robert Frost wanted to die with "a little yellow pencil in his hand" & I plan to die with a video camera in mine. I'm crazy for JPOP music & groups like Arashi, NewS, Tackey , Kamenishi, Kis-My-Ft2, BoA, etc. I'm also an immortalist and a transhumanist...and I've just started really living..I named myself in 1967, going from Charlie Hayden to Randolfe Hayden Wicker. Was nearly elected President of Student Body at UT in 1960.

Well, I was wondering where you were!
I'll be honest. I don't quite understand about extending life into infinity. I'm having a hard enough time grappling with my soon to be 48th year. I'm more shocked that I am still here let alone contemplate I could still be here 100 years from now.
But like you said, I know enough that I don't know. I will pull out the mental crowbar and get to work.
Later,
Gena http://outonthestoop.blogspot.com
I've gotten almost 150 views for this vlog and only one comment from Gena--which is greatly appreciated.
However, I got an interesting email from someone who said he would leave it up to me if I should post it here.
I've decided to do so:

Thanks for that.
However I doubt the wisdom of including material about immortalism on the same web page as material about sex and then advertising that to fellow or potential immortalists.
It is not that I have anything against the latter, but people who discuss the subject seem even more intolerant with each other than cryonicists. Groups that discuss various heterosexual activities can easily split into sub groups and so on. I have seen ridiculous levels of such splits occurring on Yahoo groups. People who don't want to discuss sex at all are certainly going to dismiss any material that accompanies it and maybe even turned away from the whole subject. "Immortalists are a load of perverts" is what they may think.
I think it is fine to provide links to immortalism from sex pages, but not wise to provide links the other way round.
Still, they are your pages, and it is up to you.

Here is my answer:
Thanks for the comment. Actually, I would have liked it even more if you had simply left the comment on the page itself. Could I post it for you or would you be willing to post it yourself?
These things certainly bear discussing. I have noticed a distinct anti-sexuality prevalent among some Immortalists.
However, it is interesting that the Conference's first speaker was a transsexual (M to F) who I discovered authored a book on the subject. I also met one transsexual who was attending the Conference. Ref:
Apartheid of Sex : A Manifesto on the Freedom of Gender (Hardcover)
by Martine Rothblatt
There seems to be a preponderance of males involved in the Immortalism movement. However, the mixture of orientations seems to mirror that of society in general--mostly heterosexual, a few gays, some closeted bisexuals, etc.
One person seemed to know the woman I interviewed in my first vlog.
That lead me to suspect he was into S&M or else had a strange mutual acquaintance incident.
I don't see why you think my vlogs are sexual in nature.
I play on sexual themes and imagery to "jazz" things up ("Clothing Swap Orgy") but my approach is always more sociological than prurient.
Vloggingly yours,
Randy Wicker
do you provide air fare for the photo shoot?
