50% of homeless post-pubescent young people on the streets of NYC (ages 11 to 21) identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. The Salvation Army has entered the 21st Century by recognizing the needs of homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender homeless youth. Gloria Bach (212-352-5641) searches for any "loving home" willing to give shelter to these vulnerable young people. God Bless The Salvation Army !!
